The dishwasher packed up a few months ago and we decided that we wouldn't replace it just yet!! but go back to the old days of doing the washing up manually, which was quite fun for the first few days :). Well, this week has been busy and Nigel & I have been out everyday as well as engagements in the evenings - so the last two days washing up, as you can see from this picture, is in and around the sink.
This evening I have the house to myself and so decided, whilst listening to Harry Nilsson, I would tackle the dirties - half an hour later this is the result... Yes, it was quite theraputic and certainly fulfilling to see the end result so I shall bar Nigel & Karl from the kitchen so that it stays like it!!!
might still reconsider purchasing a dishwasher - and can you see how within half an hour the night has drawn in?
